about Jerry Davis

A graduate of the Country School and Hammonasset School, Jerry lived and worked in Los Angeles and New York before moving back to his beloved hometown. Starting in theatre, Jerry was mentored by legendary Broadway producer Alexander H. Cohen and got his first producing credit thanks to equally legendary Michael P. Price of Connecticut’s Goodspeed Opera House.  Jerry went on to produce four successful off-Broadway shows.

In Los Angeles he became deeply involved in animation, beginning as a Disney executive on TOY STORY.  His other movies include Warner Bros.’ IRON GIANT, Fox’s ICE AGE, and as Producer of ROBOTS (2005) and EPIC (2013). As Chief Creative Officer for Starz Animation, Jerry Executive Produced EVERYONE’S HERO, THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO, and SPACE CHIMPS.  He’s a former board member of Producers Guild of America.

He’s married to Katie Davis, author/illustrator (Who Hops?, Kindergarten Rocks!), and Amazon #1 bestselling author and consultant. They have two children, Benny and Ruby.
